Instrument Introduction:
Dejun Instrument OIW-970 UV spectrophotometry oil analyzer is a high-precision and highly reliable UV spectrophotometry laboratory water oil analyzer developed specifically for the new national standard for petroleum "HJ 970-2018 Water Quality Determination of Petroleum by UV spectrophotometry". It uses n-hexane as the extraction agent and is equipped with an automatic liquid-liquid extraction system. It is used for the determination of petroleum in surface water, groundwater, and seawater, with a range of 0.008-100mg/L and a detection limit of 0.008mg/L. OIW-970 does not require manual oscillation extraction, one click measurement, direct reading of concentration, convenient, fast, stable and reliable. It is widely used in environmental protection and monitoring, marine and maritime affairs, hydrology and water conservancy, as well as third-party testing institutions, enterprises and other testing units.
Detection principle:
OIW-970 UV spectrophotometer is used to extract oil substances from samples with n-hexane under pH ≤ 2 conditions. After filtration and dehydration through anhydrous sodium sulfate sand core funnel, animal and vegetable oils are removed by column adsorption using magnesium silicate column. OIW-970 is used for one click measurement at 225nm wavelength, and the instrument is directly adjusted to read the standard curve of petroleum concentration vs. absorbance.
Applicable water samples: surface water (including drinking water sources), groundwater, and seawater.
